The Burrito Files - Trini

Are you a Tucson native? If not, where are you from? Yes.
What are you doing downtown today? Riding my bike and looking around.
Describe downtown in 3 words or less? small, friendly, wanna be.
If downtown Tucson were a burrito what would be in it? guacamole, chile and mole.
Have any significant events in your life happened in downtown? Yes, a lot. First time I ever saw carpet was at the Fox Theatre. All my friends and I had dirt floors or linoleum. My friend shocked me on the carpet and I spent the rest of the evening shocking people.

What are you doing downtown today? Touring open studios.
Describe downtown in 3 words or less? eclectic, Western, hopeful
If downtown Tucson was a burrito what would be in it? lots of people all the time, mixed use buildings, sidewalk cafes and some pedestrian only streets. Wig-o-Rama.
Have any significant events in your life happened in downtown? I went to an amazing costume party at the Fox Theatre

What are you doing downtown today? enjoying being outside and looking at art
Describe downtown in 3 words or less? authenticity, culture / drab, unimaginative, needs leadership
If downtown Tucson was a burrito what would be in it? Trader Joe's, colorful architecture, walking / Rialto, Rattlesnake Bridge, Fox Theatre
Have any significant events in your life happened in downtown? Great music. One time we were at a Leon Russell concert at the Rialto and the lights went off just as he came on. Everyone was sweating because the AC went off. When the lights went back on everyone cheered.
